Are you an AmeriCorps Program Director or a State Training Officer for a Commission?

Are you attending the National Service Training Virtual Conference?

Woo hoo! I hope I get to meet you.

I will be presenting “Help Your Members Understand the Education Award” on Thursday, May 6th, 2:15 – 3:00 pm Eastern Time. This is just one of 6 breakout sessions you have to choose from. So how do you know if you should attend my session?

Well first, let me share what this session is about:

Many members make false assumptions about how they can use their Education Award. This lack of understanding affects member retention and satisfaction with the program, not to mention underutilization of the award. Come test your knowledge of the award and learn techniques you can use to help your members get the most out of this important member benefit.

Maybe you are an expert in how the education award works. Okay, but are you also prepared for how to educate your members about it? I am an expert in training and facilitation and we will also be covering ideas and techniques for how to teach your members, whether you can do that in person or through a virtual workshop.

I can promise you that the 45 minutes in my workshop will fly by.

Not to brag (okay, to brag a bit…), but attendees really enjoy my sessions.

Here’s a totally randomly selected quote from one of my evaluations:

This was the best webinar that I have ever attended and not just because of content matter but the delivery was phenomenal, thank you.”

Okay, so maybe you feel like you have to attend the session on Updates to Uniform Guidance instead during this time block. I understand. I would still love to meet you and chat and answer any questions you may have. Please stop by my exhibit booth to say hi. Share the codeword “Sapphire” for a special prize.

Also, if you are interested in connecting your members with information and guidance on how to use their Education Award, you can also just send them to the workshop I will be leading on Friday, May 28th.

If you would like to get tickets for yourself, your members, or your alumni, you can purchase tickets individually for $35 each here. We do offer a group pass as well. Meet me in my exhibit booth to learn how to get 20% off.
